The Joint Application Autumn 2025 for Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) is almost here. • Application opens: 1 September 2025, 08:00 (Finnish time)
• Application closes: 11 September 2025, 15:00 (Finnish time)
• Pre-identification (remote ID check): 30–31 October 2025
• International UAS Exam (remote, in English): 10 November 2025, starts at 12:00 (Finnish time)

How the Joint Application works

The joint application on Studyinfo (Opintopolku) lets you apply to up to six degree programmes with a single form. You rank them in order of preference. If you are admitted to a higher-ranked option, lower-ranked ones are cancelled automatically.

This system means you should carefully consider your programme order. Once the deadline passes, you cannot rearrange your ranking.

The International UAS Exam (Autumn 2025)

The International UAS Exam is a remote, computer-based exam in English. You take it only once, and your score can be used for all programmes that use this exam as their selection method.

Sections

All applicants complete:

• Reasoning skills
• English language skills

Depending on your field, you may also complete:

• Mathematical skills
• Advanced mathematical skills
• Ethical skills
• Emotional intelligence skills

Each section has a strict time limit, a minimum pass score, and often penalty points for wrong answers. Your total score is the sum of the sections required by the programmes you applied to.

Results and waiting list

• Results will be published by 20 November 2025 at the latest. Successful applicants are notified by email and results are visible in Studyinfo.
• The Entrance Exam Score Service will open shortly after, where you can see your section-by-section scores.
• If you are on a waiting list, you may still be offered a place until 8 December 2025. Waiting lists often move quickly because applicants apply to several programmes or even to other countries.
