International UAS Exam Autumn 2025 Results Published – What to Do Next
The International UAS Exam Autumn 2025 results have now been published. This is the moment applicants have been waiting for since the exam took place on 10 November. Here is everything you need to know about checking your results, understanding your status, and what to do next — whether you received an offer, were placed on a waiting list, or have not received your email yet.
How to check your results
If you have Finnish strong authentication
You can log in to My Studyinfo and see your result immediately. Finnish online banking credentials, a mobile certificate or an electronic ID card are required to access the service.
If you do NOT have Finnish authentication
You will receive your result by email from the admissions services of the universities of applied sciences you applied to. Emails may arrive with a delay, and it is completely normal if yours has not reached your inbox yet.
Important:
- Check spam, promotions and “other” folders.
- Some UAS send results in batches, so the delivery order varies.
- Not receiving an email yet does not automatically mean rejection.
Being placed on the waiting list is normal
Many applicants will see a waiting list position rather than a direct admission offer. This is very common, especially in popular fields like Nursing, Business, IT and Social Services.
Here’s why waiting lists exist and why they often move:
- Many applicants apply to multiple programmes in several UAS.
- When someone chooses their preferred programme, other offers are released.
- Applicants may also have applications abroad and choose another country.
- A portion of applicants decide not to accept a place for personal, financial or relocation reasons.
Because of this natural movement, even applicants who are 20–60 places down may still receive an offer once the lists start shifting.
Waiting list offers for Autumn 2025
Universities can offer study places from the waiting list until 8 December 2025.
Autumn 2025 exam was more difficult than Spring 2025
Based on feedback from applicants who took both Spring and Autumn 2025 exams, the Autumn exam felt noticeably harder, especially in reasoning skills and mathematical tasks.
This is also reflected in the results:
- In Spring 2025, the lowest directly accepted score for a popular Nursing programme at Metropolia was 74.
- In Autumn 2025, the lowest directly accepted score decreased to around 70.
This already shows a downward shift due to the increased difficulty level.
However, the final lowest accepted score (after waiting list movement) is predicted to drop by another 10–20 points, depending on the programme.
So if your total score seems lower than expected — you are not alone. The entire applicant pool faced a tougher exam.
Understanding your score
Your total score is the sum of all sections required for the programmes you applied to. To be eligible, you must also pass the minimum score in each required section.
For example:
- Failing the minimum pass score in English or Reasoning means you cannot be selected for that programme, even with a high total score.
- Passing all required sections makes you eligible — and from there your success depends on programme competitiveness.
You will soon receive a link to the Entrance Exam Score Service, where you can see the detailed breakdown per section.
If you were not admitted this round
Do not feel discouraged — this happens to many applicants, especially because the Autumn exam tends to be more competitive and often attracts those applying for January-start programmes.
The next International UAS Exam will take place in Spring 2026.
