GeneralNovember 20, 2025

The International UAS Exam Autumn 2025 results are being released today, 20.11.2025. Learn when to expect them, how scoring works, what minimum scores mean, and how waiting lists function.

International UAS Exam Autumn 2025 Results – What Happens Today

The International UAS Exam Autumn 2025 results are scheduled to be published today, 20 November 2025. This is an important moment for all applicants who completed the exam on 10 November. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about when results typically appear, how scoring works, and what your result means — whether you receive an immediate offer or a waiting list placement.

We will update this page throughout the day as soon as the first confirmed result reports appear.

When will the results be published?

The official deadline for publishing the Autumn 2025 results is today, 20 November, but the exact time is not fixed. Based on previous application rounds:

  • In Spring 2025, results began appearing at around 16:00 Finnish time.
  • It is reasonable to expect a similar timeline this round, although they can arrive earlier — depending on when each UAS completes the release process.

Applicants who are accepted will receive an email notification to the address used in their Studyinfo application.

If you have Finnish strong authentication (online banking credentials, mobile certificate or electronic ID card), you can also log in to My Studyinfo to check your status — but for most international applicants without Finnish credentials, email is the primary source of information.

How the scoring works

Your total score in the International UAS Exam is the sum of all required sections for the specific study programmes you applied to. This usually includes:

  • Reasoning skills (common to all)
  • English language skills (common to all)
  • Mathematical or advanced mathematical skills (depending on the field)
  • Ethical or emotional intelligence skills (for certain fields)

Each section has:

  • A maximum score
  • A minimum pass score
  • A strict time limit
  • Penalty points for incorrect answers in sections where negative scoring applies

Important:

If you fail even one required section, you cannot be selected for that programme — even if your total score would otherwise be competitive.

Understanding minimum pass scores

Minimum pass scores are the threshold you must reach per section to be considered eligible. They ensure that applicants have baseline skills in each area relevant to their field.

For example:

  • A minimum pass score in mathematical skills ensures competence in basic quantitative reasoning.
  • A pass score in English confirms reading comprehension needed for studies in English.
  • Field-specific pass scores confirm suitability for the domain.

Even if your total score is high, missing one minimum pass score means you cannot be admitted to that programme.

Why not receiving an email yet is not necessarily bad

Many applicants worry if their inbox is still empty after others start receiving emails. But no email does not automatically mean rejection.

Here’s why:

1. Universities send emails in batches

Some UAS release results faster than others. Sometimes a delay of 30–90 minutes is normal.

2. Email filtering can delay delivery

Check:

  • Spam / Junk
  • Promotions
  • “Other” or secondary inboxes
  • That your mailbox is not full

3. You may be placed on a waiting list

Being on a waiting list is very common, especially for competitive programmes. Waiting lists often move significantly during the first few days.

How waiting lists work

If you did not receive an immediate offer, you may receive a waiting list position.

This is not a rejection.

Waiting lists exist because:

  • Many applicants apply to several programmes.
  • Once they choose one place, all other offers are released, moving everyone else up the list.
  • Some applicants also apply abroad and may choose another country.
  • Some decide not to accept a place due to costs or personal reasons.

Because of these factors, list movement can be very active during the first days.

A realistic example:

Even applicants who are 20–60 places down the waiting list may eventually receive an offer — depending on the programme.

The final date for receiving a waiting list offer in Autumn 2025 is 8 December 2025.

You can check your waiting list number in Studyinfo once your results appear.

Entrance Exam Score Service

You will be able to view your section-by-section scores in the Entrance Exam Score Service. A personal link will be sent to your email once the service opens (usually within a few days after result publication).

Scores remain available until early January.
